We offer high-quality boarding for your equine friend.

 

Our boarding services include: 

  • Superlative food options

    • Mix of pellets, oats and vitamins at a 10% protein level 

    • Rice bran offered for extra calories and shiny coats 

    • Timothy/Alfalfa and or Timothy/Orchard mix hay

  • Guaranteed daily turnout unless requested otherwise

  • Accommodations made to meet specific needs of each individual horse

Addition Information:  

  • We rotate our pastures and chain harrow the vacated pasture for parasite control and pasture maintenance

  • All horses are wormed every 8 weeks with Ivermectrin alternated with Panacur or Strongid 

  • Vaccinations take place once a year for West Nile, Rino, 4 in 1 (tet/flu/ewee), strangles and then a booster for flu and rhino

  • A Coggins test is given to every horse once per year 

  • Owners bear the expense but everything is handled in a clinical fashion, significantly reducing the cost

Layovers

Our state of the art facility sports roomy stalls, stocked with fans in the summer to keep our horses cool. We also offer stalls with small paddocks for horses that may need the ability to stretch their legs after a traveling long distances. With staff onsite 24/7, we can assure your horse will receive top notch care while staying at Fox Run. 

 

If you are in need of a layover, we ask you call the barn in advance to make necessary arrangements. We have someone in the barn office from 8am-5pm Monday-Friday who can take your call. If you are unable to reach one of our staff, please just leave a message with your name, date of layover, and phone number and we will call you back as quickly as possible.
